In the new artistic-documentary book, the well-known internationalist S. Kondrashov once again addresses the theme that has become central to him: the relationship between us and Americans, living in a world threatened by nuclear war. His protagonist, the Americanist, has devoted over twenty years to studying the USA. Nowadays, he embarks on a new journey to this country. Fresh impressions of trips and encounters with Americans – from unemployed miners and average farmers to prominent businessmen and the President of the USA – are presented against the backdrop of reflections on our time, which commands peoples to live in peace.
