What Is EaglerCraft?

EaglerCraft is an open-source project developed by a programmer known as LAX1DUDE. The game recreates older versions of Minecraft and runs entirely inside a browser using JavaScript and WebGL technology. Players can jump into a blocky world of mining, crafting, building, and survival without downloading software or creating an account.

The project became widely known because it made Minecraft-style gameplay accessible on devices that often cannot run the official game, including school Chromebooks and low-powered laptops. It offers versions based on classic Minecraft releases such as 1.5.2, 1.8.8, and newer community-driven adaptations.

Gameplay Features

EaglerCraft closely mirrors the experience of classic Minecraft. Players can gather resources, craft tools, build structures, and explore procedurally generated worlds. The game includes several familiar modes:

Survival Mode
