Fashion has always been one of the strongest moans in being an expression of identity- but for being a lesbian or queer there’s just lists of options out there. Most mainstream fashion labels base themselves heavily on binary gender cyphers – clothes are either outright feminine or deeply masculine, and there is not much of a middle ground. This averts a lot of lesbians who as a result feel unrepresented and frustrated.
